At the rear it will have L shaped tail lights and blacked out lower rear spoiler.

As per Volkswagen, the 2012 Touareg will be a luxury statement and therefore it will have the best interior. The car can carry five adults comfortably without any headroom or legroom problems. The cargo already has 32 cubic feet of space but if the consumers want more they can fold the rear seats and enjoy 64 cubic feet of luggage. The car will also have expansive panoramic sunroof which is 350% larger than the sunroof in the earlier versions. It will also have oversized tachometer and speedometer on the front and other dashboard options are close to the driver.

The 2012 Volkswagen Touareg will have 3.6 liter V6 FSI gasoline engine which can produce 280 horsepower and 265 lb feet of torque. The engine is impressively quiet and provides good acceleration. The car also comes with eight speed automatic transmission which has the EPA ratings of 23 mpg on highways and 16 mpg in the city. Volkswagen has confirmed that the combine performance is 19% better than the previous model. The 2012 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid also performs well with 3.0 liter V6 engine that can produce 333 horsepower with 47 horsepower electric engine.
