Toyota is certainly on the top at the moment with many awards being awarded to it. However, there are more reasons for Toyota to celebrate now towards the end of the year as Toyota now earns the number one spot as per the Kelley Blue Book. As per the Kelley Blue Book, Toyota has reached the number one spot because the customers rely on the auto brand that Toyota has created in the market. The rankings are based on the Q32010 Market Intelligence Watch study where most new car shoppers said that they believe in the brand that Toyota has created.
Toyota has certainly made its impact on the minds of the people from the very start as they provide some of the best fuel efficient cars at great prices. However, Toyota has also dominated the Market Intelligence Brand Watch Study from the year 2007 when the study was relatively new in the market. However, Toyota slipped to the second spot at the beginning of 2010 and remained on the second position for past three quarters. However, they have managed to get back in the first spot at the end of the year. One of the main reasons for it is that Toyota has taken all the honors when it comes to non-luxury sedans, coupe and hatchback. They have also taken most of the honors in the SUV and CUV segments.
Bob Carter, Group Vice President and General Manager at Toyota Division said that regaining the number one spot in Kelley Blue Book is really a great thing for Toyota and they are considered as the most preferred brand among the car shoppers is an indication that Toyota recognizes the commitments to earn people’s commitments in safety, value and quality of the vehicle. He further stated that Toyota will always continue the same hard work to provide the finest cars and trucks to its consumers.
