Toyota has already earned the reputation of manufacturing some of the best quality cars in the world that not only look good but have superior performance. This time Toyota unveils their new racing concept known as Toyota iQ. The car is certain small in size but Toyota claims that it’s a small car with big attitude and it will be loved by all the people who want smaller cars for better urban drive. The car was unveiled at the Auto Salon in Tokyo where many car critics from around the world had arrived to take a first look at the car.
The car is a track ready GRMN iQ Concept that has a good outer finish and great performance modifications made especially for people who are looking for urban compact model. The best features of this small compact car is that it has deep front air dam, racing wheels, huge lower air intake, massive spoiler and dual exhaust system. The new iQ racing concept also has supercharged engine, roll cage, sporty seats and racing instruments to make you feel like a race car driver. The new iQ racing concept is among the 17 new cars that Toyota has launched at the Auto Salon in Tokyo. The other models by Toyota in Auto Salon are Prius, Yaris, Corolla and FJ Cruiser.
This small car has been made by Toyota but there are some performance modifications made by Gazoo Racing, MN, Toyota Racing Development, G Sports, Fuji Speedway and by Toyota Engineering Society. Toyota’s Global President, Akio Toyoda said that manufacturers should make cars with different flavors to suit the senses of different people. He further explained that like in cooking where there are different flavors there are different types of cars that appeal to different kinds of people all over the world.
