In the month of January, Toyota Corolla made more than 4000 unit sales and that is phenomenal for Toyota. Since November 2010, Toyota Corolla has remained as the number one choice for all the people in Australia. Toyota Corolla is now on the top of the competition and it has outsold the second place by more than 33% which is a huge margin to take over the first place.
Apart from this particular record, Toyota Corolla is also the best selling car in Australia for more than seven months time as dealers across Australia delivered more than 26,500 cars since then. This is certainly a big lead for Toyota as they have gone ahead of their own financial year record. Toyota Corolla has also remained as the best selling car in Australia on around 14 occasions. However, this is for the first time that the car has remained on the top for three consecutive months. As per Toyota the main strength behind Toyota Corolla’s success is private buyers who have faith in the quality and performance of the car.
Toyota Corolla has remained in top form for more than 70 months in the Australian market and over the period of time their market share has grown to 20.1%. David Buttner, Toyota Australia’s Senior Executive Director Sales and Marketing said that Corolla is a stand out performer and it is the right car for Australians of all ages.
