The coronation of the best large car in Australia this year was given to the local vehicle yet again for the third time in a row. The Hybrid Camry, V6 Aurion marked the onset of a new community partnership and highlights another year of Toyota Australia’s sustainable relationship.
The Sustainability Report recently released by the company takes great pride in communicating how Toyota Australia along with its employees has over the years contributed significantly towards building a sustainable relationship between the company, its environment and the community taken together during the past financial year.
Max Yasuda, President and CEO of Toyota Australia communicated that the sustainability vision had covered all the areas wherever the company operated in Australia.
The President also feels that the company’s employees over the country were acknowledging sustainability to help them guide about the way the company designs, develop their cars, ran their businesses, invested and partnered with local communities, worked in combination with suppliers & customers and develops employees.
The paper reflects how the efforts are being brought together to build sustainability across the world and also coordinate efforts to deal with the dynamic and challenging business scenario.
The current year’s vehicle getting the limelight by Toyota is the local pride, the Hybrid Camry with the attractive feature of fuel efficiency being increased by 30% than the conventional Camry
During the year, other achievements of Toyota Australia include it being named in Australia as the ‘best selling brand’. It also won ‘Manufacturer of the year award’, the Exporter of the Year award in 2009.
