In 2010, Toyota has sold over 50,000 vehicles, 20,000 of which were sold in the same month.  If Toyota continues to chalk up the numbers at the same rate, then the financial year 2011 would be a landmark for the company, with a prediction of the one-million mark being reached during that year.

The brake failure complaints have totaled around 200 globally and luckily no serious accidents reported. The cause seems to be in the ABS management program of vehicles electronic control unit (ECU).

First time the Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) introduced the “Prius Plug-in Hybrid” in to key markets at Tokyo.This “Prius Plug-in Hybrid” is new version of a plug-in for third-generation. Actually the “Prius Plug-in Hybrid” is a petrol electric hybrid vehicle.In the start of this product of TMC, only 600 units will be introduced in Japan, the United State, and Europe for the use by governments and businesses.

Toyota Division light truck posted the sales figure for some of the greatest sales records to have noted in terms of their sales of Camry, Camry Hybrid and Prius. The Corolla also recorded a high sales unit of 25,717 units. The Venza has been at it with sales of 5,035 units with the sales taking place all over October.

The light trucks posted with the sales of about 47,494 units with about 10.0% sales happening from a year back. The light truck had always been led by RAV4 compact SUV sales. The October sales have been quite high with some of the greatest sales rates coming over last month. The Tacoma mid-sized pickup is one of the highest reported sales in that one month alone.
