Porsche Museum is one of the most popular automobile museums in the world and recently it completed a milestone of one million visitors. However, now Porsche Museum is making the world go crazy with some unusual exhibits that are there in the museum. The Porsche Museum has now come up with special exhibition where they are showcasing 80 years of Porsche Engineering. Hence, Porsche is now trying to get more visitors to the museum by exhibiting the long history of how Porsche has become one of the greatest brands in the world of automobiles.

Porsche’s engineering office was founded in Stuttgart in 1931 when Ferdinand Porsche laid the foundations of a company that is today known as Porsche AG. Now, people can take a ride back into the history of Porsche and see how Porsche went through the 80 years of automobile engineering. This special exhibition is open from June 21 to September 11, 2011. Visitors visiting the museum during this period will be able to see the special exhibition and also see how customer developments were made in last eight decades. The display will have 20 different exhibits and will have a range of entire vehicles, engines, and transmissions for people to see.

On the exhibition will be the very first Porsche development which is the Chemnitz-based car manufacturer Wanderer. Hence, you will be able to see the Wanderer W22 which is also known as the in-house at Porsche. The mid-size saloon will feature six cylinder alloy engine with 1.7 or 2 liter displacement which was soon used to power Audio Front. The exhibition will also have the design of the Grand Prix racing car which has now become the most legendary car of all time. This motor racing car was driven by Hans Stuck and Bernd Rosemeyer who had 15 world records between 1934 and 1937.

The exhibition will also display Opel Zafira which was designed by Porsche in 1994 for Adam Opel AG. This anniversary exhibition will be the most special event that happened since the opening of the museum and visitors will also be surprised to know that there is know-how beyond the automotive arena where visitors can get more information about Porsche engineering.
