Nissan is quickly coming up with new cars in the market. However, in their recent announcement Nissan provided information about their net income for the third quarter of the fiscal year. Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. announced that their net income in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2010 has totaled 80.1 billion Yen which equals to US $970 million and Euro 710 million). This shows that this year Nissan has an increase of 35.1 billion Yen as compare to the last year’s results.

Nissan further informed that the net revenues were 2.1028 trillion Yen which equals to US$ 25.43 billion and Euro 18.74 billion. Nissan said that it has been an increase of 5.3% compare to the results of previous year. The operating profit of Nissan was 114 billion Yen which equals to US$ 1.38 billion and Euros 1.08 billion. Hence, the operating profit margin came to 5.4%. Ordinary profit was 141.1 billion Yen which equals to US$1.71 billion and Euro 1.26 billion.

Nissan President and CEO, Carlos Ghosn said the financial results of Nissan show the solid performance of the company itself. He further said that although Nissan sees the risk of increasing commodity prices but they are confident that they will be able to keep up the good work and deliver good results to ensure that they have a profitable growth in the future as well. Nissan sold 3,018,000 vehicles in the first nine months which is 20.5% up compare to the sale in the same period last fiscal year.
