The Nissan Motor has launched the new Fuga Hybrid a luxury sedan, that goes to sale from 2nd November at its nationwide dealers. New Fuga Hybrid builds with the features of Nissan’s original 1 motor 2 of clutch parallel hybrid system called ‘Intelligent Dual Clutch Control, which takes into account the advanced environmental technologies. It has an efficient fuel economy which is 19.0 kilometer per liter (10-15 modes) which can be compared to a compact car also providing the exhilarating feel of luxury vehicle.
The ‘Intelligent Dual Clutch Control’ system of Fuga Hybrid’s connects electric motor & the 3.5 liter VQ35HR V-6 engine to transmission, without using the traditional torque converter. This is a highly efficient, lightweight & simple hybrid system. Since the two clutches disconnects this motor from its engine highly efficient EV mode is realized. When compared to the usual hybrid systems, this electric motor speed is expanded to contributes to a high speed driving (over 100 km/hr on a highway level) and the EV mode is usually applied which would help the Fuga Hybrid achieves the best of the class fuel economy.
It is backed by a compact high-output lithium ion battery which can be charged or discharged very quickly. This is the factor contributing to its high speed, optimum clutch control and precise control of electric motor. Further this reflects in higher luxurious drive having a smart shift which is sharp as well as standard. The Fuga has a 7 speed manual hybrid transmission having the specified shift modes featuring optimized performance. All these help in improved acceleration and a smooth drive.
Coming to the comfort front of the car the Nissan Fuga Hybrid sports executive features in terms of power reclining rear seats, built in control switches with centre armrest. It also has an electronically operated rear window sunshade. This beauty has been designed to provide a high quality feeling having some of the special materials which includes semi-aniline leather which is of natural textures.
