The car accommodates up to three people and runs on electric power from an internal lithium-ion battery.

Hyperion Concept

This sleek-looking car is extremely light. And why not – the vehicle comes with a carbon fiber reinforced plastic chassis. It draws power from the internal lithium-ion batteries and can notch up speeds of up to 200 km per hour.

The electric-powered Hyperion Concept has been designed by reputed Spanish industrial designer Marco Aurelio Galán Henríquez. It looks much like a crab.

Suzuki Truck

What is your dream of a futuristic truck? Whatever it is, you may not have ever imagined something close to the Suzuki Truck. The stunning vehicle, designed by Swiss-German automobile designer Luigi Colani, features extremely angled fronts, circular widescreen wipers and protective wind covers over the tires.

The design is inspired by Mercedes platform and consists of a turbo-charged 4-valve, 6 cylinder diesel engine and a 12.6 liter cylinder capability. The powerful engine comes with direct injection, air cooling feature and can acquire speeds of 530 hp from 381 hp in a matter of few seconds.

Ford Nucleon

There had been some crazy car ideas in the past as well. The Nucleon was planned as a concept car as early as 1958 by the Ford Company. It is also known as the Atomic Car.

The Ford Nucleon ran on a nuclear reactor. The vehicle had a power capsule located between the twin booms at the back of the car. It consisted of a radioactive core to supply motive power. This could easily be changed depending on the performance needs and the distance to be covered. It could run 5,000 miles or higher without any need for recharging.

Peugeot Egochine

The Peugeot Egochine has been conceived with a hydrogen fuel cell at the back and dual front-facing electric motors. The powerful structure has been conceptualized with an aerodynamic design that helps vehicle performance and ease of notching up higher speed.

The vehicle is based mainly on the Isotta-Faschini design.

Peugeot Moovie Concept Car

One more wonder car from Peugeot. The Peugeot Moovie Concept Car sports two big wheels at the sides that help driving as well as steering. Each wheel runs with the aid of an electric motor, which lets the car turn on its own axis. The side-wheels are angled inwards by ten degrees. This wonder vehicle can fit itself into very tight parking zones thus proving greater rider benefit.
