Honda has started the production of its Albama-built the 2011 Honda Odyssey. This marks the end of the line celebration for which there were more than 1200 participants majorly associated with Honda Manufacturing of Albama (HMA)
The latest venture of Honda of the minivan category, Odyssey minivan was a top selling minivan of US for around 2 years. It was also considered a benchmark vehicle for the minivan class. The 2011 Honda Odyssey has been fully redesigned and looks promising due to its improved classy design having a more different style, greater interior versatility and higher fuel efficiency. The vision of Honda “ultimate family transportation” can be easily depicted by improvements in the 4th generation Odyssey.
According to Vicki Poponi, the assistant vice president for the American Honda Motor Co. this beauty will hit the showrooms in around 4 weeks but stated that it won’t be there for a longer period.
Odyssey which has been completely transformed for the 2011 model year celebrated its mass production in the Tuesday’s event held at assembly line. The Odyssey minivan, Ridgeline pickup and pilot sport vehicle is HMA’s exclusive global production vehicle.
2011 Odyssey has a lower roofline and much more aerodynamic shape contributing to great fuel efficiency. However the enhanced interiors packaging is the same as the previous models in terms of vertical functionality.
The space seems to be more accommodating all because of the new wider stance which also enhances the exterior’s classy appearance. 2011 Odyssey is expected to be available for sale next fall at all the Honda dealerships around the U.S.
