John Mendel, Executive Vice President of Sales for Honda said that Honda Civic is known as a car that has balanced features and they suit with all kinds of characters and people who love fuel economic cars. He further added that all these features are available at a very lower price so that even first time buyers can afford it. Honda hinted that the 2012 Honda Civic will be Civic for all people and that is the vision of the company at the moment. Hence, Honda will provide a wide variety of engines when they line up their Civic series in 2012.
Honda further clarified that they want to provide more options to their consumers and therefore Honda Civic will have a sedan and a coupe with conventional gasoline models. Apart from that Honda Civic series will also have two sporty Si performance versions in the market for those who love to speed their cars on the road. However, all the Civic series will have low emission, fun to drive functions, high performance and fuel economy options for better driving experience.
The car manufacturer also emphasized that all Honda Civic cars will have an excellent exterior looks that will make heads turn. The cars will have steeply raked windshields and a broader appearance so that they look grand. The three dimensional new fender will also add to the outer appearance of new Honda Civic series. Honda has decided to add a new powertrain technology to the new Civic cars. Apart from that all the new Civic cars will have better safety features which will be scored by New Car Assessment Program and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. All the cars will have 5 star crash safety ratings for better safety options.
