Like Panamera models, Porsche Cayenne also has a V8 engine under the hood for superior performance on the road. Porsche have deliberately named the car as S hybrid because it combines the efficient hybrid system with the superior performance of a SUV.

This SUV has a excellent 400 horsepower that comes out of the supercharge V8 combustion engine and  also has an electric motor. Together it can easily surpass the performance of any superior V6 car on the road. In North America, Porsche has come up with three different models of Cayenne which are Cayenne, Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo.

The regular Cayenne has 300 horsepower engine while the Cayenne Turbo which is the superior model has 500 horsepower V8 engine. The car has already received lot of awards for its styling and performance including the 2011 Motor Trend Sport/Utility of the Year award.
