The all new 2014 Cadillac XTS VSport comes with a starting price of $44,600 while the top of the line model will cost buyers around $72,535.

The four door midsize sedan comes with the immensely powerful 3.6 liter twin turbo V6 engine that has the capacity to generate 410 horsepower and 369 lb feet of torque. According the General Motors, 2014 Cadillac XTS Vsport has the most powerful six cylinder engine that offers performance on the same scale like V8 engines but it still manages to offer better fuel economy compared to any other cars in the same category. The car offers acceleration of zero to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds which is good considering the weight of the car. The twin turbo hardware in the engine offers additional horsepower and torque to the vehicle making it compete with the best V8 engine cars in the market. The car is expected to deliver EPA estimates of 17 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway for front wheel drive vehicles and 17 mpg/26 mpg city/highway for the all wheel drive models.

The Cadillac CTS has been named the Motor Trend Car of the Year. In so doing it beat out the Mazda 3 and Chevy Corvette Stingray. This is the second time that an edition of this car has won these honors, having won it in 2008 as well. In order to claim this top spot again, the car had to beat 21 other vehicles considered for the prize by the magazine, including the BMW 5 and the Mercedez Benz E-Class. Both of the latter failed to make the final 3.

Cadillac has always tried to improve their vehicles and now Cadillac has made an announcement that their three new Cadillac models including ATS sport sedan will have an advanced safety feature that will stop the vehicle in low speed conditions to avoid crashes. The company said that they have come up with better feature called Front and Rear Automatic Braking which works like a virtual bumper in the car. The system works when the driver fails to see another vehicle or object in front of the vehicle. Cadillac announced that this new feature is a part of the new optional Driver Assist Package.
