Scott Devon, a Michigan based business man was really surprised to hear that there was no one interested to buy the Chrysler’s Doge Viper business. It is a known fact that Devon has made several attempts to buy the Viper business but never succeeded. Earlier, Chrysler’s have filed a chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States by which it decided to sell of all its assets to Fiat and the deal has been carried out.

When speaking about this bankruptcy filing, Bob Nardelli, the CEO of Chrysler spoke to the media that no bidders showed serious interest in buying the Viper business and the Detroit plant where the business is built.

Replying to this comment, Chrysler spokesman David said that thiscomment referred to the lack of post-chapter 11 bankruptcy bids and even the prebankruptcy bids by Devon and David Draper failed to meet the budget.

So as of now Viper is still pending for sales and Chrysler is hoping to sell it to fiat along with the other deals. Bob Nardelli, has a high requirement that he rejects bids that are less than 30$ million and hence Viper is still with Chrysler.
