General Motors

General Motors plans to display at least 25 of their concept and production vehicles at the Auto Shanghai 2011 event. Some of the new cars of 2011 that will be showcased at AUTO Shanghai 2011 will be Cadillac CTS Coupe, Chevrolet Captiva SUV, Chevrolet Malibu, Buick’s concept SUV – The Envision. Chevrolet Malibu and Buick Envision will be making a global premier at the AUTO Shanghai 2011, Cadillac CTS Coupe and Chevrolet Captiva will be making their Asia Pacific premier at AUTO Shanghai 2011 event. In fact focusing on a greener future, General Motors has said that their range of Cadillac, Buick and Chevrolet models will be showcased under the theme of a Green Future. Apart from this SAIC GM Wuling Automobile, which is a joint venture between Shanghai Automotive industry Corporation, Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co and General Motors would be showcasing their first new model, Baojun 630 from their brand new passenger vehicle brand. While Baojun 630 will give the audience a preview to what is in store for them from the joint venture company.

Honda

The Auto Shanghai 2011 event will also showcase some new Honda cars. Honda Motors plans to display a battery concept vehicle, best hybrid cars and other electromotive technologies and automobiles. The focus this year for Honda Motors is to produce vehicles that help reduce CO2 emissions for a greener future. Fit EV concept electric battery powered vehicle and the dedicated hybrid models namely the CR-Z and the Insight will be some of the best cars of 2011 on display at Auto Shanghai 2011. Honda Motors will also be showcasing Fit hybrid and Li Nian S1 compact Sedan at the AUTO Shanghai 2011 event this year.

BMW
