So, what is really different with the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera?

There are some changes that Porsche has made to the 2012 Porsche 911. The wheelbase is now 3.9 inch longer and the reduced overall height makes the car look more athletic and elegant. Normally when people view it from the front the most striking feature that catches the attention is the wide arched fenders. The side mirrors are now on the upper edge of the doors which gives an impressive finishing to the design of the new 2012 Porsche 911.

To make the car lighter the car is made from aluminum steel composite which means that the new 2012 911 is 45 kilos or 100 lbs lighter than the previous model. However, that does not mean that the composite material will get damage easily. The new aluminum steel composite provides greater structural rigidity and aerodynamics. Inside the new 2012 Porsche 911 designers have tried to make everything convenient for the driver and passengers. Most of the options and features are close to the driver for easy accessibility. The new electro-mechanical power steering offers better handling to the driver. The system fitted inside the car will monitor the settings and provide feedback to better fuel efficiency and better handling of the car. The all new 2012 Porsche 911 offers better dynamics to the drivers and therefore the car takes off at a better speed without too much fuel consumption.  The 2012 Porsche 911 also has Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control for better handling of the car.
