Toyota has maintained its position of being the top automobile manufacturer on the globe and now Toyota has announced the arrival of 2012 Toyota Camry hybrid at all Toyota dealers across United States. Toyota said that all the new hybrid Camry cars will have better improvements that will increase the efficiency and value of the car in the sedan category.
Toyota Camry has always been among the best new cars that Toyota has manufactured and therefore the company has paid lot of attention in the updated version. The 2012 Camry hybrid will be incorporated with Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive powertrain that will improve the fuel efficiency of the car. The revised fuel EPA ratings for 2012 Toyota Camry hybrid will be 43 mpg for city and 39 mpg for highway and 41 combined. The new car will have 2.5 liter four cylinder engine and will have improved electric motor voltage control, optimized regenerative brakes and improved aerodynamics as well. Toyota engineers mentioned that they have also tried to cut down the overall weight of the car compared to earlier Camry models which will help the car to be fuel efficient and provide easy handling to the drivers.
With the help of the new 2012 Camry model drivers have the option to save more fuel because they can always switch to the electric motor under certain conditions. The car also comes equipped with ECO mode which optimizes throttle response and air conditioning output to provide better fuel efficiency and also provide better driving experience.
