Honda Insight 2011 runs on four cylinders gas engine boosted by adjacent electric motor with 98 horsepower. Honda has added a system known as Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) which self charges the battery pack and therefore there is no need for charging plug. Hence, users can enjoy running their car on battery if they are inside the city.
The engine shuts off automatically when you stop the car and it can turn on instantly the moment you touch the accelerator which is one of the best mechanical features in Honda Insight 2011. However, the electric steering system might not be as comfortable as power steering system that is available in conventional cars.
