Sherriff Ted Paxton of the Forsyth County, at several events in 2011 saw the Chevrolet Caprice PPV (Police Patrol Vehicle). He really liked the vehicle and was among the first law enforcement customers as the car started patrolling in May in Cumming, Ga.

A lot of emphasis has been laid on the car and the design. The seats are designed ergonomically which takes care of the comfort of the officer and also many advanced safety features have been incorporated in the vehicle. As per Paxton the car has been made in keeping in mind the work that the police have to do. He is of the view that these vehicles are an excellent investment and he has realized in the one month that they have been using the Caprice.

The Sherriff is very impressed with the Caprice PPV and so is Dennis Hogan who is the Fleet Service manager. In the one month it has been patrolling Hogan has a good feedback on the car and now he has plans to replace all the vehicles in the current fleet which has 175 vehicles for patrolling, with the Caprice. The vehicle is like an extended office for the officers as per Hogan and the Caprice has storage space, trunk, operational space and a great operating environment for the officers. The car is very comfortable for officers who have to be in them for long hours and there is also space for gun belts which adds to the comfort levels. The Caprice PPV provides comfort, safety and performance. This gives the needed support to the police to work more efficiently and this has been taken care of my Chevrolet while designing the car and giving the due importance to all the needs and requirements of the officers.
