During the 7th Annual Barrett Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Auction next month, the Shelby GT500, and two Mustang GT concept cars are all set for an auction. The economical generations from these auctions are for charity only, to be held on April 9 to 11, 2009.

Craig Jackson, Chairman cum CEO of Barrett Jackson said that it is not a regular thing for a concept vehicle especially one of such a high stature of Ford Mustang, to be sold publically. It is also a dignified way of celebrating the 45th anniversary of Mustang.

All financial gains from the sale of Shelby GT500 will be donated to The Carroll Shelby Children’s Foundation. Whereas the finances that two Mustang concepts will generate from auction will be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The bigger the cat, the higher the purr, and that’s what Jaguar seems to do with its 2010 XK and XF.

Under its nice hood, a new 5.0-liter direct-injection V8 has been housed to boast 385hp and 380 lb-ft of torque and both these numbers are considerably from the gorgeous 4.2-liter V8.

Some nice refinements have also been made with creamy smooth power delivery that makes it quite equal for German competition. The exhaust seems to easily pop and crackle nicely on the over run.

To show off the flagship performance of its sedan into masses, Subaru has just unveiled its flagship performance Sedan into the masses.

The A-Line sweeps in a usual five-speed auto transmission with Sportshift and 6-speed manual, Paddle shifters and a nice blipping control system that is quite effective to raise the revs of the engine in an automatic way. It follows Mitsubishi footsteps that offer Evolution to third pedal and double clutch gearbox.

It has almost everything of the normal manual version that jumps to the A-Line without its Brembo brake system. Instead of that, there is a 17” dual piston discs in the front and 16” at the back. While the other exteriors, aero items and SI-Drives are the same.
